What to Expect
Each session focuses on practical mindfulness exercises and nature-based activities that help cultivate awareness and cognitive flexibility. You’ll explore your surroundings, practice mindfulness, and engage in reflective discussions. These sessions are designed to help you reconnect with nature and the present moment in a meaningful way.
Location and Meeting Points
Sessions are held at a variety of locations across Northern Virginia and Loudon county. You’ll receive detailed directions and meeting points upon booking.
What to Bring
- Clothing: Dress comfortably for outdoor weather. We recommend wearing layers, sturdy footwear, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
- Water: Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the session.
- Additional Items: You may want to bring sunscreen, bug repellent, a hat, and a journal for reflections.
Session Structure
Each session lasts between 60-120 minutes. The themes and activities of lessons vary, though most include various mindfulness-style practices, nature immersion activities, and group discussion. Both individual and group sessions are available, allowing for flexibility in focus and interaction.

Waivers:
Participants are required to sign a waiver before attending sessions. The waiver is completed online during session sign up.
Weather Considerations:
Sessions proceed in most weather conditions, but in the event of severe weather, we’ll notify you of cancellations or rescheduled dates.
